No, I'm suggesting that justice is more important than economic costs. Too often we put the economic costs of justice ahead of the moral imperative to be just, while ignoring that injustice itself has costs—sometimes profound, as in the loss of human life.

Because I (and you and the author) do not know precisely what occurred in the instance she describes—because we don't have access to the original unredacted communications—I'm not weighing in on what would constitute justice in this instance.
