This article should be the poster child for "both sides-ism" (i.e., the false equivalence of opposed political movements). The author would have you believe that those who seek to prevent LGBTQ+ youth suicide by providing appropriate support and healthcare access are the same as neo-Nazis openly advocating for the extermination of Jews. (I wish that latter were an exaggeration but when U.S. presidents, presidential candidates, and their staffers employ Nazi terminology, concepts, and imagery, sadly, it's not.) It is not "woke" to oppose those advocating for your erasure. And, no, these political positions are not morally or ethically "the same."
