This is textbook victim blaming. "DEI", to the extent that it is even a thing outside the feverish imagination of racists, was a well intended effort to diversify American institutions: schools, government, workplaces. The opposite of DEI is all societal positions of power occupied by straight, white, able-bodied males. If white people feel "victimized" by DEI it is only because we have gotten so used to straight white affirmative action that equal treatment or remedial promotion of others feels like discrimination. But it isn't. Feelings aren't facts. Or justice.
