You’re reading meaning into that sentence that simply isn't there (and I don’t appreciate your insinuation). Nowhere in what I wrote do I claim or suggest that the presence of transmen at gay men’s campgrounds would prevent gay men from feeling free to be themselves.

I stand by my assertion: if Camp Boomerang, a gay men’s campground, fails to open in April, it will be a space lost to gay men (because it won’t exist). And we can add it to the growing list of lost spaces where gay men can feel free to be themselves.
