You may be right that other spaces will open if Camp Boomerang does not but I think your prediction of what's been learned here is not correct. What I expect will happen is gay campgrounds will refuse to talk about the issue out of fear of 'death by social media.' Look for public social media groups to go private; membership policies to disappear off websites; and campground owners to refuse to talk to the gay press. Gay businesses are vulnerable at all times but especially now, in the middle of a pandemic. No one's going to willingly put their business investment and life savings at risk. There are ways to avoid that outcome but it would require diplomatic educational outreach by entities I don't think currently exist.
